Dear Fellow Alumni, `

Most of you already know that the LSE Summer Scholarship winner this year is Aleksander Kavaev. What you do not know is that during the selection process we met another outstanding candidate who is determined to succeed in the investment banking and financial markets world.  Iliya Dokov is a fresh graduate from Sofia University who was awarded Bulgarian Stock Exchanges Scholarship for CFA Level I and we could understand why.

Iliya was not be best match for this year's LSE Scholarship but all of us who met him appreciated his focus, motivation and ability to deliver. We were  not surprised to hear that he passes his CFA Level I exam successfully. That's why we decided to help him get to the next important milestone in his career path and award him a CFA Scholarship covering his enrollment and preparation for CFA Level II. 

It is inspiring to meet people like Iliya and it is even more inspiring to be able to support their success. Having said that I would like to welcome you to join me in starting a new tradition for Aleksander Foundation and establishing the Alumni Award, a initiative aiming to support a cause, person or event that is suggested and funded by the Aleksander Foundation's Alumni. 

Get engaged in this effort to give back and create a new memorable learning experience like the ones we had at Aleksander Foundation's events.
