We transport cancer patients to help relieve stress and anxiety

Story

I will be doing a sponsor walk around Strathclyde park on 21st June with family and friends  to raise money in aid of Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust. LCCT is a voluntary organisation who aims and objectives are to provide support for cancer sufferers and their families. LCCT offers patients and their carers living in the NHS Lanarkshire area free transport  to their hospital and day care appointments .

This is a subject close to my heart, since being diagnosed with cancer  this year and having to travel to the Beatson for daily treatment.  I am so grateful for this valuable services that is on my  door step The LCCT drivers who all give their time voluntary have taken me to my appointments . It  is a valuable service and has helped me feel  less  stressed  and anxious with them providing  me with a reliable, friendly, confidential and supportive service.

If you can please donate. Many thanks Andrea xxx
