hi my name is Andrea, i am mum to Tyler almost 8 & Daniel 6. Tyler was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder at the age of 4 1/2. Thanks to his pre-school manager who noticed him first, he got early intervention. i had to fight for 4 years to get him into the BEST school for him. for 2 years i shut myself away. unknowing of the community which awaited me :-D  last year we went on our 1st holiday (just he 3 of us) to a place called Este Dean. there we met families who knew of the struggles & fights we too face every day. from this experience we found ourselves among friends & from these new friends also came the ASD family support group x x x  i know attend my local group every monday morning. it has been a lifeline from a once  dim place. I am soooo very grateful for there support & friendship xXx this is why ALL monies raised will go to them. however, This is just 1 reason why me & my younger brother are doing this walk. We want to raise the awareness of, not just ASD, but ADHD, Aspergers, Autism. I believe it is time we told people that our children are NOT naughty, or we are bad parents, because WE ARE NOT.............

We do everything we can for our children, just like everyone else!!!!!!
