Myself (a 70 year old retired research scientist) and my friend Nicky ( an ex con and ex homeless young man) are cycling 64 miles in order to raise money to support "The Wellspring", a Stockport based charity  which helps to re-habilitate disadvantaged people and return them to mainstream society. My new friend Nicky's life  has been changed by the work done by the many dedicated people working  at  "The Wellspring"  which runs entirely on charitable donations.
