Story
Dear friends and family,
2016 WILD ATLANTIC WAY
This year’s big bike ride took us to Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way for an epic challenge.
It turned out to be the toughest ride yet. We rode over 250 miles in 3 days but a very hard ride each day climbing lots of hills, even a 1500 meter climb up to a Mountain !
It was a much longer and challenging ride for me this year coming only 8 months after my heart bypass operation but the sense of achievement when the ride was finished was worth every hard mile.
We rode through some beautiful but bleak countryside and unfortunately had all of Ireland's rough weather thrown at us.
120 riders this year finished in Ballybofey with a Garda escort taking us to the finish with streets full of applauding townsfolk, very moving and emotional.
I would like to thank everybody for their generous support in the past - If you are able to spare the odd £5 or £10 for this great cause I would be so grateful.

The money raised really does make a difference to children who will never be lucky enough to enjoy life as we do.
