I've been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to race with the best in the World at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii raising £50,000 (yes, FIFTY THOUSAND POUNDS) for Scope.
I'm paying my own way there (flights, accommodation etc.), so all the money you donate goes to this amazing charity which aims simply to make disabled people's lives better.
So why should you donate? You will know somebody who is touched by disability, and living or caring for somebody with a disability can be tough. One in fifteen households with dependent children under their roof has a disabled child to care for. That means, on average, somebody in your postcode will need the help and support Scope give.
And so I'm doing my bit... swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles and running a marathon - one after the other, in a day.
