Fundraising for Big Hearts

Story

On Sunday 29^th May like many 1000’s of others I will be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon.

We all have personal targets and motivations for taking part. For me it’s a challenge I wish to complete, p(l)ain and simple; and with it an opportunity to wear with pride my Big Hearts t-shirt.

Big Hearts is a wonderful community based charity providing vital support to vulnerable children and their families in Edinburgh.

If you are planning to take in the whole EMF spectacle and cheering
on the runners and see me in amongst the throng, number 23006, please cheer me on too.

For those of you in the know, I will be the silver haired blur setting a PB for the one mile stretch down Lochend Road and onto Leith Links!

Since 2006 Big Hearts Community Trust, the official charity of Heart of Midlothian Football Club, has engaged over 27,000 people across Edinburgh and the Lothians and raised over £1.5M for community projects to date.
