People United was set up 10 years ago and since then the charity has worked with thousands of people - using the arts to inspire kindness.  We are, I think, the only arts organisation in the world that focuses on arts and kindness, and in our increasingly divisive world, I think it's really important to support work that brings people together and celebrates and grows what's good about us humans - kindness, hope, creativity, courage, love, and.......generosity!

So I've roped my family (particularly Ella) into taking part in our first proper fundraising event.  We wanted to do something that was meaningful in itself - so we will be taking part in a range of activities with a range of artists to create work that spreads kindness across Canterbury - all over 24 hours!

As well as Gift Aid etc - all donations we raise will be matched 50/50 through the Arts Council's Catalyst Evolve scheme that we were successful in being part of.

So if you can donate something to help People United's work running creative projects in communities that bring people together - that would be brilliant. Thank you.
