For the first time in nearly 30 years, I am pulling on my running shoes and attempting a race. It is rather a long way from not getting out of the heats in the county 100m at school!

The Royal Star & Garter Homes is a truly amazing charity - supporting veterans with outstanding therapeutic care for more than 100 years.
