Anna was closely involved with the Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group over many years, as a visitor to asylum seekers held in detention, and a trustee for the charity (holding the position of Chair from 2011 to 2015). She helped to fight for those trapped in a bewildering system, and gave practical help and a listening ear - something that, as many of us know well, she was so very good at.

We're collecting donations in her memory to help continue the work for a cause she was so passionate about.
