I am attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro . I am not entirely sure I will make the summit but I have every intention of trying . 

Christian Response Eastern Europe is a charity that supports people who live in Moldova . The poverty is extreme and comparable to areas of Africa but is on our doorstep being a few hours flight away and in Europe. I spent a week earlier this year spending time with Moldovans and some doctors and nurses there. The doctors have little equipment; what they do have is of poor quality and drugs are hard to come by. Moldovans fear being ill as they are unable to afford care and are unsure of the standard of the care they receive. The charity supports the doctors in terms of sharing knowledge , offering support and where possible providing equipment. 

The Maldovans are very caring, hard working people. They were very welcoming. The charity has set up soup kitchens, support orphanages and support individual families. Education is also of their  work particularly in the villages. I would be grateful for any donation so that this organisation can continue to achieve their long term goals and especially help the medical teams to provide even a small amount of the care we are so fortunate to achieve in the UK . I promise to do my best to reach the summit.
