I met the Holy Family Sisters of the Needy in 2009 & as I've come to know them more & more, I've become increasingly inspired by the work they do.

I had the privilege of meeting one of their clients in 2014, a mother and her young 3 year old son who had met the Sisters. She had to leave her accommodation and didn't know where she would stay.  She was given money by the Sisters to get on her feet and to afford to process immigration issues and care for her son.  She felt welcomed by the Sisters and feels they did a lot in her life.  Life hasn't been easy for this mother but she continues to soldier on.  Her faith in God helps her and she remains in friendship with the Sisters. There are other women, children and others in need who have received the friendship and care of the Sisters, and I'd like to see their work continue.

I therefore went on a sponsored walk to raise money for the Sisters on 16th July 2016.  It's taken a bit of time to get the just giving page up but I've finally created this page to try & raise funds (retrospectively)!
