Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April I will be volunteering for 3 months on a development programme in Uganda. This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most.

I’ll be working alongside volunteers from the UK and Uganda, on a project to help raise awareness about sexual health and rights and empower people to make informed decisions for a healthier life. We will work with young people through schools, youth groups and communities to deliver workshops and activities to raise awareness on HIV, family planning and other sexual and reproductive health issues.

I need to raise £1500 for Restless Development who are one of the respected development charities that deliver ICS. This will allow them to continue to bring about positive change in the developing communities where they work. You can check out their amazing work here http://restlessdevelopment.org/

I’m doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on the 18th March to launch my
fundraising and you can keep track of how I get on here on my Justgiving page or
www.facebook.com/arin.singh .

Any contribution from you will make a real difference to the lives of people in developing countries, so please dig deep!

Thanks for your support!
