Fundraising for Hebridean Men's Cancer Support Group

During August/September 2016, a group of 5 hardy swimmers, from the Isle of Lewis, are going to attempt to swim from Lemreway, South Lochs to the Shiant Isles to raise money for the Hebridean Mens Cancer Support Group. This will be approximately 10 miles across some treacherous waters, with 2 of the swimmers (Angus & Colin) doing it individually & 3 (Stuart, Ed & Mark Doug) doing it as a relay. They will be supported by 4 kayaker's (PJ, Mike, Tim & Dave) and 2 RIB's kindly donated by Sea Lewis.

We provide support through weekly 'drop-in'' sessions for members and others and regular monthly business meetings, usually with a guest speaker on a cancer related subject. We provide support to Island cancer patients and their families through our group members and including a Benevolent Fund
