I wanted to honour the life of the son of a lifelong friend. Yvonne and husband Kennedy gave birth to their first son Malachi on 26/08/2003 only to have him taken from them on 05/06/2012 as a result of contracting leukaemia. Malachi was no ordinary boy. He touched the lives of many and taught so many lessons I am convinced he was an angel. His courage in the face of adversity suggests that he was well beyond his human years in terms of wisdom and understanding. I am using this period which marks the second anniversary of his passing to highlight the great work of the ACLT which have been a source of encouragement to Malachi's proud family. So to mark this occasion I have decided to go back to my roots, literally, and cut my locks of 20 years in an attempt to raise money for this just cause and to remember the life of an angel. Please respond as generously as you can. Just hope we have a decent summer this year considering my scalp hasn't seen direct daylight for so long :). I intend to go back to my roots on or around 02/08.
