The story has only just begun but here is an insight to our vision and thoughts behind this great project.

For a long time now, Balgores Property Group have been considering a charity to support. We have felt that giving back to the local community is a top priority for us. Choosing the charity you want to raise money for can sometimes be the hardest part but for us it was very easy. We have seen, first hand, the fantastic work all the dedicated staff are doing at Haven House Children’s Hospice and decided to help by raising money for this amazing cause.

The decision to hold a charity football game locally, was aided by the very kind offer from AFC Hornchurch to let us play at their ground.  We then had the job of persuading ex-professional footballers, actors and reality TV stars to help us in our quest to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity.

It’s not just about the football !!  The day will suit all ages, from  penalty shoot outs at half time and the chance to meet the Balgores mascot,  for the children, the raffle and auction, as well as the chance for the adults to reminisce whilst watching the ex-professionals on the pitch.
