We raise funds for local Leukaemia patients to "help make life a little easier"

Story

Candice was a close family friend who lost a 4 year battle with leukemia in 2010.

The Candice Colley Foundation is a charity close to my heart and to the hearts of my family and friends back at home. The charity is small and independent and relies almost exclusively on fundraising operations and donations made by people like you and me.

Candice was determined that when she got better, she would fund raise to help support the families of those suffering from the illness. This ambition is now continued by her friends and family, in her name.

More information on the charity can be found at their website: http://candicecolley.co.uk/

I will leave from St Paul's Cathedral in London on Saturday 7th May. I'll load up the saddlebags and cycle to Dover for the ferry and will make my way down to Switzerland through Belgium, Luxembourg and France. After cycling through Switzerland I'll then make my way over the Austrian Alps before arriving in Vienna, exhausted. The trip is completed when I arrive at St Stephen's Cathedral in central Vienna. It should taken 3-4 weeks at a good pace with a few days off here and there. I will be camping along the way where possible.

Details of my route can be found here: http://www.tripline.net/trip/London_to_Vienna_by_Bike-7437456235631011847BFD1E14D1C0C4

I'll provide regular updates throughout my preparation and throughout the trip.

Please donate using Gift Aid as it will dramatically increase the donations the charity receives without costing you a penny more!
