Story
The Chernobyl Children's Project provides vital support to children and their families in Belarus, the country most affected by the Chernobyl disaster.
They bring children to Britain for recuperative holidays.
They provide holidays in Belarus for disabled children from orphanages.
They set up projects to improve lives of children and their families.
In September 2015 Russell, Simon and Matthew will take to the roads of Europe in a bid to raise much needed funds for the charity.
They will cross through England, France, Belgium, Germany and Poland before arriving in Belarus.
They will spend a week helping out at the centre, offering support, advice and training to the children and staff.
The entire trip, for Russell and Matthew, will be undertaken on motorbikes, covering 350 - 450 miles a day, through 6 countries.
They will be followed by Simon in a van, who will be carrying supplies for the centre and gifts for the children.
In order to raise fund we will be circulating sponsor forms for the trip, organising fundraising events and also asking for donations from kind well wishers on our Just Giving page. (Link to follow.)
