Story

To try and raise awareness and funds for the North Wales Superkids i came up with the idea of doing the 24 HOUR 3 Peaks Challenge! It had been on my 'bucket list' for a number of years and one day i thought that's it, its time! We have set a date! 3rd and 4th September. I wanted something, different and challenging, and this certainly meets that requirement. For those who don't know, the 3 peaks challenge is Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. We're adding the hurdle of completing this in 24 HOURS! I then asked for volunteers to do it with me and and 3 took up the gauntlet! Simon Harding, Jason Pryde and Richard Minshull. We also have a separate driver and guide, Steve Moss.

We are doing this unaided, as in its not an organised event. Its simply off our own backs, and with some help and guidance from Steve who's done it multiple times already! Basically, he'll get us to the mountains, and point us in the direction of up, the rest is up to us!

North Wales Superkids are a small charity bringing sunshine surprises and smiles to hundreds of disadvantaged children / young people across North Wales through our 4 projects. TOY BOX APPEAL, FESTIVE TREATS, ART PROJECTS IN rural villages and HOLIDAY PROJECT. All bringing smiles rather than tears.

This fundraising is in aid of there Caravan replacement where they have to raise a total of £61,000 to ensure this priceless project can continue due to age of the caravan and need for constant maintenance.

We cant cure these families, but we sure can and do make a difference to all youngsters we support.
