Eight years ago my Dad started to suffer with renal failure and became a dialysis patient . It was only then that I realised how limiting life can be when someone has to be connected to a machine for 4-5 hours 3 times a week , particularly in old age. The RLHKPA committee and volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds and provide care and support for patients like my Dad . One of the facilities they provide is a subsidised holiday home in Poole, Dorset where we were able to take my Dad for a much needed break from his routine a couple of times before he passed away. (Patients are only allowed 2 weeks away from their home unit per year). 

I know how much the renal staff appreciate the work of the RLHKPA and I would ask that if you feel you can that you donate to this good cause.
