We help homeless people in London to get back a life of independence

Story

Hi folks,

Thanks for looking at our Justgiving page. Let me tell you what we're doing.

We  are 4 rank amateur city cyclists, with a combined age of 128 years and the physical prowess of a broken trolley. We stop at every red light and children on scooters pass us by on the sidewalk. Lance Armstrongs, we are not!

Despite our athletic limitations, we've realised we're far more privelidged than a hell of a lot other people out there. People who have to walk across London to find their next meal. People who have to suffer in the cold months. People face the personal demons alone on street. The idea that a person can be homeless in one of the most affluent cities in the world seems utterly bizarre to us. But unfortunately its all too easy top fall throught the cracks and get lost in the hustle of the city. So this year we are riding the London Prudential to raise awareness for SPEAR, a charity that has worked tirelessly since 1987,helping homeless people on the route to independence.

So although we may be 4 goofy millenials who are going on a bike ride, we want to do it for a good cause. So if you feel inclined to help too, please donate anything you can. If you want to know more about SPEAR and the work they do, please visit http://www.spearlondon.org/about-us/

Thanks for your support. See you at the track.
