Story
As part of UCL’s Raise and Give Society, I alongside some other (equally bizarre) individuals will be hurling myself from an airplane to enjoy a spot of earthward free fall. Yes indeed, I will be participating in a skydive this June and it's all in the name of fundraising for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.
Parkinson’s is a degenerative disease which affects millions of people worldwide but for which there is still believed to be no cure. CPT challenges this view and works tirelessly to fund research to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s. It has made remarkable strides since its inception in 2005 but can do even more with your help.
So please, please give what you can to this phenomenal cause, and stay tuned for what will inevitably be some very amusing video evidence of my plummet from an aircraft at over 10,000ft!!
Please don’t hesitate to have a look at The Cure Parkinson's Trust website if you'd like to learn more about this charity, their extraordinary work and the disease they are fighting to cure: https://www.cureparkinsons.org.uk/what-is-parkinsons
