We offer cancer patients support to help them feel better about hair loss
Story

I wanted to ask for your support for a charity that is currently very close to my heart. I’ve been very fortunate to meet some amazing people in life. None is more amazing than my wife Jules – so her recent breast cancer diagnosis came as at bit of a shock to say the least.

Another amazing person is Jasmin Julia Gupta who runs the Cancer Hair Care charity in Hertfordshire where we live. Jasmin provided incredible emotional support for us as well as sensitive practical advice on hair loss during chemotherapy.

Having met her recently I know that as well as supporting us she does some amazing work with kids and teenagers whose cancers are complex and require all kinds of emotional support.

There is a group of parents and friends from my sons’ schools who are raising money for this charity. There are various events going on and you won’t be surprised if you know me that a few of them involve bikes. I’m personally doing these three events in the next few months and so I'd really appreciate any sponsorship you could give:

1 Chiltern Hundred Sportive – 100 miles (175km) around the Chiltern hills with around 2.5km of climbing

2 The classic London-to-Brighton cycle event – although I’m going to warm up by starting in St. Albans!

3 London ‘Nightrider’ – 100km at night around the London sights

Thank you.
