On Sunday 25th September a group of around 10 families are taking part in a fundraising walk at Lydiard Park to raise money for the Swindon & District Children's Cancer And Leukaemia Movement (CALM). We've chosen to do the walk in September because it's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and all the families taking part have been affected by childhood cancer. We've decided to walk a short route of 2.5 miles because we want the children to be at the heart of the walk. We'll have children who are currently on treatment, some who have survived cancer and some who are the siblings of children that have lost their battle with cancer. All the money raised will directly help families in the Swindon & District area who have a child with cancer.
