The Derby Firewalk is the finale to "Challenge Cancer" week. Challenge Cancer is a week long programme of activities to raise awareness and challenge perceptions about living well with and without cancer. 

All funds raised via the firewalk will go towards our public grants programme to support local people living with cancer. The programme funds much needed items and services to improve the quality of life for those people living with cancer in Derby. Examples of funded items/services include:

childcare while undergoing treatment

household chores

family holidays
