Story
Next Year in Jerusalem is a wish we all declare at our tables on Seder night but wishes are coming true right now at Boys Town Jerusalem for its 960 pupils who, thanks to our supporters, are lucky enough to attend this amazing school.
Harel, a pupil at Boys Town Jerusalem is one of eight children born to Ethiopian immigrants, neither of his parents is able to work.
“Not one school in the city would take Harel,” recalled Boys Town’s Director of Jewish Studies, Rabbi Elimelech Yaakov. “His behaviour was really problematic. We took up the challenge and accepted Harel. Our staff mobilized to help rebuild his confidence and in turn his ability to study and develop. The results have been phenomenal, Harel’s behaviour has improved dramatically, and his academic achievements are excellent.”
Thanks to you, Harel and the other 960 pupils have a brighter future to look forward to, more than 7,000 graduates of Boys Town Jerusalem can testify to that.
Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Pesach.
