There are currently very few services specifically designed to support Young People’s mental health in Dorset, but there are a large number of young people in desperate need of help.  In order to support young people aged 14 to 25 in the local area with mental health problems we are developing a number of youth groups and services across Dorset. We estimate the cost of setting up these services and running them for one year to be in excess of £55,000. Please help us provide these important mental health services for young people by fundraising, volunteering with us or supporting us with grants.    Services to include:

• young person’s professionally facilitated mental health groups
• mentoring / befriending service
• telephone / email help line
• professionally facilitated on-line social media groups
• mental health information and signposting to other agencies
• information and training to schools / colleges.
