Story
A huge thank you for helping us reach our £10,000 milestone in 2016!
We want to ensure that we give every baby the very best possible chance from the moment they are conceived until after the birth.
Improved technology, medical advances and nursing expertise enable us to care for babies born with wide-ranging problems. This can include those born premature, unwell or with breathing difficulties. Some may just need an initial helping hand by tube feeding or light therapy for jaundice.
Care before the birth is also very important and we aim to offer the best possible antenatal facilities through our new Foetal Assessment Unit and new Cardiotacograph equipment. These monitor how a baby is progressing in the womb and enable us to detect and possibly treat problems before the birth.
Financial support for our Little Buds Fund provides the very best care for babies before and after birth, meaning most of our babies can be treated close to home.
