Story
The Dyspraxia Foundation is committed to raising national awareness of dyspraxia/DCD to ensure it's not a barrier to opportunity and fulfilment. With a declining membership and current Big Lottery funding coming to an end, we cannot survive on passion alone. We are appealing for money to ensure our services continue until we secure long term sustainable funding. We successfully managed the 3 year project providing a helpline and awareness campaigns whilst supporting membership, groups, and 40 thousand people on social media. Our small team is supported by a large number of volunteers with a wealth of expertise. Together we offer help, advice, support and raise vital awareness of this still poorly understood, lifelong condition.
"The Dyspraxia Foundation was my parent’s first port of call when I was diagnosed and thanks to their help they didn't feel alone."
