Philip Smith, Warren Mauger, Robert Young, Abi Schofield and Adam Holland have a few things in common. They enjoy taking on crazy challenges, but more importantly they are all driven by having a positive impact on as many lives as possible. This is the core purpose behind why they are taking on the World Record (251.79 miles) for the furthest distance run, by an individual, in 48 hours on a treadmill. The money raised will support four amazing charities:
This Is EPIC - Working to end poverty for individuals and communities in a sustainable way.
The HUB - Providing a safe place for young people in Guernsey to get advice & support.
NSPCC - Helping children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives.
Dreams Come True - On a mission to bring joy to seriously ill children and young people.
The event takes place on the 4th, 5th & 6th September 2015, in Guernsey.
Thank you for your support from everyone involved in the challenge.
