Visit the charity's profileThe staff do a brilliant job in a building and with facilities that desperately need upgrading. The improvements we want to make include bringing the hydrotherapy pool back into use, providing a dedicated indoor sensory area, creating an accessible sensory garden, improving the personal care facilities and introducing ‘eye gaze’ technology so every service user has equal access to IT.
The work will mean the staff can do more of what they do so well. But for the 32 people who currently use the Day Service, and the five new service users we will be able to accommodate, the planned alterations will be life changing: improved health and well-being, fulfilled potential and greater independence.
