Story

They are only children, just like ours, and yet they live in extreme risk and constant un-rest. Their days include violence, fear and instability. This is their childhood and it is vital for their development that they experience it in safety.

The Seagull clown and play specialists as well as being professional performers are specifically rehearsed to work with children facing trauma. Our sessions are a mix of shows and workshops allowing confidence to be remembered and then expressed.

On April 1st we drive through Europe to Turkey reassuring as many kids on the way as possible that their happiness matters.

We will create an oasis of play  where they can relax and share positive times together. They've lost everything but we cannot allow them to lose themselves. Play and laughter is essential and it is unforgivable if we allow these children to grow up without it.

Europe has been showing some very ugly faces recently, and it’s time that we replace them with broad smiles and red noses.

We believe that it is everyone’s right to put aside the cares of life and smile for a while. We work with marginalised groups to bring smiles and laughter, whether as Clown Doctors for children undergoing difficult medical treatments or through arts, music and crafts workshops and shows.
