As much as 15 million tonnes of food is thrown away each year in the UK, over half of which is perfectly edible. At the same time, more than 4 million people are affected by food poverty. Veolia and FoodCycle are uniting to tackle this issue, saving perfectly good food from going to waste.

FoodCycle has been voted by employees as Veolia's new charity partner. Our aims are closely aligned and we are excited to work together to reduce food waste and build stronger communities across the UK.

FoodCycle is focussed on the simple idea that food waste and food poverty should not coexist. They support volunteers to collect surplus food and cook it up into a nutritious meal - served with warmth and dignity in a welcoming environment.
