Story
Nagorno-Karabakh has few resources and little infrastructure to support those with disabilities, but the Lady Cox Rehabilitation Centre works to ensure that people with disabilities are given the opportunity to live fulfilling, healthy and happy lives.
The Director, Vardan Tadevosyan says, “We give the chance to people with different disabilities to understand their abilities and their rights, and to feel there is not any shame.” The Centre offers a broad therapeutic repertoire including physical, occupational, art and speech therapies, hydrotherapy and support from psychologists.
