Dementia is a condition that affects Kingston Hospital more than most as we serve an area that has one of the highest life expectancies in the country. As a result, nearly half of our patients over 75 have dementia, double the national average.

Our ambition is to create a truly dementia-friendly hospital site with secure, safe, homely and comfortable facilities. We want to be the most dementia-friendly acute hospital in the UK with wards and public areas that support independence and are calming, comfortable and familiar.

To re-develop the wards we need to raise £750,000. We are now seeking your help to create a landmark facility at Kingston Hospital that will benefit our community for decades to come.
