Story
Kingsley School has been around Kettering for over 100 years and in its current location on the Ise Lodge since the 1960’s. It became an Academy in February 2012 with 76 special needs pupils and 28 Mainstream Nursery pupils who integrate with our special needs pupils. We have been a victim of our own success and we now have 110 special needs pupils and 61 Nursery Pupils both Mainstream and Special Needs and we have run out of teaching space.
The 1960’s classrooms are too small to deliver the specialist education that our pupils require and we need to build a block of 4 classrooms with play areas to enable us to deliver quality education for our Autistic Pupils. We have the land we just need to raise the funds for the building, furniture and equipment required to deliver a specialist teaching space for our very Special Pupils.
We cannot do that alone - please can you help us.
