Story
On 12 Sept 2015, in Jersey, more than 3,000 people celebrated the first ever Pride parade to be held in the Channel Islands.
This year, Pride is bigger and better. Starting in Guernsey on 10 September 2016 with an opening parade, the celebrations will last for a whole week, ending with a closing parade in Jersey on 17 September 2016.
The Pride parade and the afternoon's entertainment in both islands is a community event and, as such, is not ticketed. It is free for anyone to attend.
The ability to stage an event like this that makes such a bold statement of visibility to the wider island community relies on the generosity of sponsors and supporters.
If you would like to help make Channel Islands Pride 2016 fabulous, please donate now.
All donations to this campaign will be used to support the Jersey events of Pride week.
