Research shows that LGBT people drink more, and more often, than society as a whole. Sober Start encourages people to give up for a month but also to think about longer-term sustainable reductions in drinking. 

By sponsoring or donating you will be helping to support Antidote at London Friend, the UK's only LGBT alcohol & drug service which works directly with LGBT people concerned about alcohol or drug issues. Antidote also works with policy makers to improve health and care services for LGBT people.
