Story
At the heart of every successful football community trust is a successful disability programme with a multitude a facets, dedicated coaches and a team of volunteers ready to go the extra mile who ensure training, games, tournaments and other social events happen. 10 members of staff and one of the disability programme participants will certainly be going the extra mile this October but more skywards.
As part of a fundraising initiative led by one of our MCT disability footballers Stephen Kilty and members of staff will be aiming high and completing a skydive from over 12,000 feet (the Shard is 1004ft) including Stephen himself.
The aim of the thrill a minute fundraising event is to raise money towards a minibus so players are able to travel up and down the country to participate in an array of tournaments and competitions. As well as raising money towards the minibus, money will also be spent on the ongoing development and delivery of the disability programme
