Story

After the success of our previous Grand Pier relays we're ready to run again. The event will take place over the weekend of 12th / 13th March, running from midday on 12th March for 24 hours.

The aim of the event is to:

1) To keep at least one mock Olympic flame moving for the duration

2) Act as a team-building event for athletes and parents

3) To raise awareness of athletics in North Somerset

4) To raise money towards phase 2 of our Athletics facility in Clevedon, equipment purchase, and our new athlete bursary fund.

We invite all Athletes try to get involved in this, as the previous three events have proved to be extremely special.

 THE THEME

As this year sees the Olympic Games in Rio we have decided to go for a 'Carnival' theme. Come dressed in bright colours and add face paints if you wish, and headwear. Enjoy getting dressed up!
