Story

"This is one of the most neglected, marginalised, stigmatised issues in global health today. We simply don't talk about stillbirths." Editor-in-Chief, The Lancet

Debbie Howard and her team have been working on 'Still Loved' for over three years. It is an emotional but beautiful film documenting seven families' journey - mums AND dads - through the devastation of losing their babies.

It captures the ultimate tragedy but shows that, even out of the darkness, parents find strength and hope. This is a film about stillbirth, but also about the power of the human spirit.

One of Our Angels' key objectives is to raise awareness of this issue. There is no better way to do this than to get a feature film into the mainstream public domain.

We are fundraising to get the film out to the public through special screenings around the UK with a panel at a post-screening Q&A, and submitting the film to film festivals.

About the charity

Our Angels exists to help parents and families through the tragedy of the loss of a baby. We aim to improve the experience in any small way we can and give families a support network, so that they know they do not have to face it alone. We also help midwives support bereaved parents better.
