At what should be a time of joy and celebration, many dogs and cats find themselves homeless with no owners to care for them.

Dogs like Mabel. Mabel was found as a stray and taken to her local council kennels where she waited and waited for her owners to come and take her home but they never came. The kennels were cold and scary and she shook with nerves as she faced an uncertain future (over 5000 dogs a year are put to sleep by UK Local Authorities). Rain Rescue heard Mabel's plight and saved her. She is now safe and recovering from her ordeal with us. Mabel has been used as a money making puppy machine and then cast aside when no longer of use.

At Rain Rescue we believe no dog should have to go through what Mabel went through. We save over 400 dogs and cats from crisis every year. This winter up 70 dogs and cats will face spending christmas day with no family, presents and no sofa to curl up on.
