Joint Aid Management (JAM) was founded in 1984 by Peter Pretorius and his wife Ann after witnessing first hand the devastation of famine in Mozambique; up to 30 people dying in front of them each day. Responding to the call to feed and love the poor this organisation has passionately pursued the vision of developing community structures that work holistically to eradicate starvation among the African people and support 'Africa to Help Itself' With over 30 years of experience, JAM now: Save lives through the provision of nutritional food, water and sanitation. There are 1.2 million beneficiaries of this work on a daily basis Sustain lives through health and social programmes such as HIV/Aids training, small holder farmer assistance, basic skills development, nutrition and health education Improve lives through education, technical training and transitional finance.CRC London is partnering with JAM to feed 1500 children in the coming year.
