Story

Can you imagine your life without sight? How would you cope, how would you live your life?

Can you imagine no longer being able to read your favourite book, your weekly magazine or your daily newspaper? Think of the sense of isolation and loneliness that losing your eyesight would bring to your life.

Every 15 minutes someone begins to lose their sight. Right now there are 2 million people living with sight loss in the UK.

Talking Books is one way RNIB has been able to end isolation and loneliness but we need to reach more people who urgently need us now.

RNIB wants to double the number of people we reach this year. Can you help us by sponsoring a Talking Book?

For £2,500 for an adult book and £1,500 for a children’s book, you can sponsor your own Talking Book – fundraise for our campaign. You can record a personal dedication so the Talking Book lives on in your name.

Any questions please get in touch on 0345 345 0054 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) or email us at fundraising@rnib.org.uk.
