Story

Big Walkies Warrington is taking place on Sunday 18th September in Sankey Valley Park.

You can register to take part via this link- http://www.rspca.org.uk/bigwalkies/warrington

You don't need a dog to take part, just a love for muddy paws and sloppy kisses!

We know not everyone can attend but you want to support the dogs who are taking part and the many who still need our help.

So, meet our first hero dog, Ben! A 9-year-old, bearded collie cross.

Ben had suffered severe neglect from his former owner. He was underweight and had a nasty sore on his back.

He spent 10 months in kennels before our volunteers, Kelvin and Amanda, gave him a happy forever home.

Ben loves everyone except the local peacock who likes to spend time in his garden. He is happy to stare at it safely tucked away behind the windows!

Ben loves a good belly rub. So, if you see him at Big Walkies, make sure you say ‘hello’. Please sponsor Ben as he takes on Big Walkies in aid of our branch.
