Story
Please help us get homeless people off the streets this winter.
Even in an affluent area such as Surrey, homeless people end up sleeping on the streets or living in a tent or vehicle. During the winter, this can lead to serious health problems and can even be fatal.
Transform's winter shelter, from January to March 2016, will provide a lifeline during the coldest and wettest time of year. We will give each person:
Somewhere warm, safe and dry to sleep
A hot meal at night and breakfast in the morning
Advice and support to get off the streets for good
We desperately need to raise £35,191 to keep the shelter running for three months. How you could help:
£10: travel costs of homeless people trying to reach the shelter each day
£20: all meals for a homeless person at the shelter for one week
£50: all domestic items to run the shelter for one month
£100: cost of utility bills to run the shelter for a fortnight
Any donation, however small, can make a real difference. Thank you for your support.
