Story

Team GASTROCAN is back for Run Balmoral 2016!

Having competed in the 1.5k, 2.5k, 5k and 10k on Saturday 23rd April, our 70 runners ran Balmoral in 2016 and raised some amazing funds for GASTROCAN!

GASTROCAN is a local cancer research fund supporting research into gastro-oesophageal (stomach and gullet) cancers, investigating the causes of these devastating diseases and improving the treatment options for those diagnosed.

All of the funds raised for GASTROCAN are used to support local research efforts, to benefit local patients and enable the University of Aberdeen to lead national and international research projects.

For more information on the recent research conducted by the GASTROCAN team, please visit the website here.

To support our GASTROCAN team, donate here or click on any of our runner's pages to donate!

Please make sure to click the gift aid box if you are working and pay tax in the UK- the government will add 25%!

Thank you!
