We are preparing to move the Wensleydale Railway forward in a big way.  The opportunity exists for us to extend the line heading west from Redmire, initially to Bolton Castle and Aysgarth. To achieve all this, we will need to undertake a wide range of improvements to the existing railway, as well as continue our preparations for the exciting prospect of running a longer line, contributing more to the local economy and providing a valuable service for tourists and locals alike.

Of course, all of this cannot be achieved without raising the funds to make it happen.  We have already raised a sizeable sum to start improving our maintenance facilities and we continue to work hard on applications for grant-aid, commercial partnerships, sponsorship and fund raising events, but if we are to succeed in our aims we need your help.
