In 2016 five brave volunteers will be taking part in the Great North Run on our behalf.

They will be raising money to provide much needed support to the 18,000 unpaid adult and young carers in West Cumbria.

Carers look after a family member, relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or learning disability.

Running for us will be - Rachel Bradley, Carla Fletcher, Lisa Forrester, Katrina Rourke and Gary Williamson. We will update you with their training stories as they happen.
