We train amazing assistance dogs to transform the lives of disabled people

Story

Malachy Tuohy & Adam McCarthy are running the 26.2 mile inaugural Brighton Marathon on Sunday 18th April 2010 in aid of Canine Partners Assistance Dogs.

Please support us to run this NEW marathon; the distance is a first for Mallachy and hopes Adam's marathon experience will help while training!

Please help Canine Partners provide highly skilled and loving dogs for more people with disabilities; every penny counts!

We are trying to raise enough money to purchase two more puppies to train and become Canine Partners of the future. Where the dogs skills are geared to the person with disabilities, to enable a more independant life. Their ground breaking work also includes training dogs for people with multiple disabilities in collaberation with Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Susi was left paralysed when she broke her back on a Royal Navy assault course. “I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t do my job, and I was in a lot of pain.”  Susi was partnered with Canine Partner Lex in 2002 and thanks to the independence he brings there is no limit to what they can achieve together. “Lex, he is everything to me and I am so glad that I got a chance to have a Canine Partner.”

Donate through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Canine Partners gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

THANK YOU!
